Don't let the promo fool you, guys. NBC is trying to pull a fast one!
Zachary Levi (Less Than Perfect) leads a cast of other bad actors in this one-hour 'action-comedy' that evokes neither excitement nor laughter. Each actor offers one corny line after another which will sure to have you reaching for the remote control 15 minutes into this snoozer. After previewing the entire episode, I am convinced this show was scripted as either an after-school action-comedy for kids ("Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" comes to mind), a made for TV movie or feature film and some genius thought to stretch this ridiculous plot over the course of a television season.
My advice to NBC would be to give this show to ABC so they can run it on Disney or keep the money in the family and have NBC Universal develop this into a feature film.
This show isn't even worth the bullet. (1 star)
